United Methodist Men
The United Methodist Men exist to fulfill three goals:
*To encourage creative Christian men in leadership in the
United Methodist Church
*To promote a better understanding of men and service
responsibility through study, worship commitment, dedication,
and participation
*To deepen the spiritual life of men by developing a close
fellowship of consent, concern, and cooperation

United Methodist Women

The purpose which has been in existence for over one
hundred years is: The organized unit of United Methodist
Women shall be a community of women whose purpose it to
know God and to experience freedom as whole persons
through Jesus Christ, to develop a creative, supportive
participation in the global ministries of the church.  To
accomplish this purpose we: meet monthly and have a
program to enhance our spiritual growth and develop
supportive relationships with each other.  Our Circles, smaller
group, meet monthly to the same thing and outreach projects.
United Methodist Women also serve funeral dinners as a
means to support the families who have lost love ones.
Through pledges and projects the UMW reach out locally to
families and agencies in need and also globally UMW helps
make this world a better place to live using  Jesus two
commandments:  To love God and love one another.  We
urge all women to join this group for the unique opportunity to
grow spiritually and serve others to make a difference in our
community and the world.

Friendship Club
A monthly gathering for members and their friends to enjoy
Christian fellowship.  Each meeting has a meal that is followed
by a program.  Every program varies from informational to
entertaining.  The friendship club meets on the first Monday of
each month in the fellowship hall at noon.

Church Softball
We have two men's teams (16 years old and up) and one
women's team (14 years old and up).  We have a veteran
team that plays on Monday night on Diamond #2 in the Pekin
Park.  Our intermediate team plays Tuesday night on
Diamond #2 in Pekin Park.  Our women's team plays Monday
or Tuesday on Diamond #3/4 in the Pekin Park.  This is a time
of great fun and Christian fellowship.
